I create vibrant, playful icons that celebrate joy, nostalgia, and individuality. My work draws inspiration from pop culture, street art, and childhood memory—anchored by the recurring motif of the ice cream cone. In 2024, I took on a challenge to paint the same subject for a whole year. I am a lover of variety, so I did not think I would like this project. To put off procrastinating, I quickly decided to paint Ice Cream Cones to play with a playful subject, rich with pattern and color. Now I love it, and I have no plans on stopping!
Each piece is part of my ongoing Cones in Color collection, a visual diary that explores emotion and identity through bold color fields, expressive linework, and repeated forms. By combining the simplicity of cartoon-like design with the expressive energy of graffiti, I aim to create art that feels familiar but fresh—inviting viewers to smile, pause, and connect. My pieces are approachable and deeply personal, with each cone reflecting a moment, a mood, or a memory. Through this series, I invite others to embrace a little more whimsy in their everyday.
